Catalyst Campus for Technology & Innovation

Catalyst Campus was started with the O’Neil Group Company purchase of the old Santa Fe Railroad Depot in Eastern Down Colorado Springs in 2015. Soon thereafter, Catalyst Campus doors were opened with a vision to bring together small businesses, academia and government to solve real problems for technological advancement and the delivery of capabilities to the Air Force and Space Force.

Catalyst Campus began more formal engagement with UCCS in early 2022 with the Advanced Industries Partnership Liaison position which came about through gift funding through Kevin O’Neil, also founder of Catalyst Campus. Official partnerships with C3 Innovation began with the launch of the C3 program on 4 February 2025.

A combined approach with problem solving and utilizing UCCS university talent benefits CCTI with our focus on bringing together academia, industry, and government to solve national security related problem sets. We look forward to the hub C3 Innovation brings with providing UCCS faculty, students, and external partners to help drive the CCTI ecosystem.
